Glass Sculpture Studio

Since 2012, I have worked at Glass Sculpture Studio in Oakland, California, facilitating and performing all stages of fabrication of large-scale and monumental glass sculpture. These process include design, modeling, mould-making, raw glass production and processing, equipment and studio maintenance, preparing and firing kilns, packing, finishing and operations management.  Since 2017, I have been the primary coldworker for all projects in the studio: overseeing and completing all of the grinding and polishing of sculptures in the studio. Much of these past few years has been spent working on the Colorado Cascade Project, a 10,000 lb., 360 square foot wall of transparent, golden-brown, rock-textured cast glass.
